Restaurant workers and other service workers were already struggling. They need our help now more than ever.

SUPPORT SERVICE WORKERS TODAY!

In 2020, One Fair Wage distributed $25 million to make sure restaurant workers had enough to eat during the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, as millions of Americans face food insecurity following the lapse of critical SNAP funding, we’re launching another emergency fund to make sure no one goes hungry.

When the pandemic began, millions of restaurant workers and service workers lost their jobs overnight. Before the federal government could distribute its first relief checks, One Fair Wage was already in action. We built the One Fair Wage Emergency Fund from the ground up — setting up an online application system, creating a need-based prioritization model, and distributing millions of dollars to workers in urgent need.

We worked tirelessly — often through the night — to ensure that struggling workers and their families could eat and stay housed. With the generosity of thousands of donors, we distributed over $25 million in direct cash relief to nearly 50,000 workers nationwide.

Today, we’re facing a new crisis. With 42 million Americans at risk of hunger, and many losing access to essential food assistance programs, the need is once again urgent.

No single organization can solve hunger alone. But together, we can make sure fewer families go without food.
If you’re able, please consider contributing to the One Fair Wage SNAP Emergency Fund. Your donation will help provide direct cash assistance to families who need it most.

Donate today — and help make sure no one goes hungry.

CAN YOU GIVE HELP?

Your generosity can make an immediate difference for service workers and incarcerated workers who are struggling to put food on the table after the lapse of SNAP’s critical funding.

Millions of Americans who rely on SNAP — including over a million tipped and service workers — are now at risk of going hungry. With rising food costs and little to no savings, many families are facing impossible choices between meals, medicine, and rent.

By donating to the One Fair Wage SNAP Emergency Fund, you’ll help provide direct cash assistance so workers and their families can buy groceries and meet their most basic needs.

Please give what you can today.
