Emergency cash assistance for tipped workers and service workers affected by coronavirus and the economic downturn.
Tipped workers and other service workers were struggling before this crisis. Now the downturn in the economy and forced quarantines are making the situation dire.
Who is eligible?
Restaurant workers, delivery workers, drivers and other tipped and service workers who sign up with One Fair Wage and participate in a confirmation interview with one of our volunteers will be qualified to receive assistance.
What will they receive?
We are hoping to raise enough funds to provide as much support as possible to as many workers as possible. The good news is, we are now giving out cash gifts of $500 to verified workers — thanks to the generosity of our many donors.
What’s the fine print?
Our goal is to raise a significant amount of money to temporarily meet some of the significant needs in our community, and get that money out the door quickly. The fundraising platforms we are using charge a standard administrative fee but thanks to a generous supporter, all funds are now going directly to worker support.
